The CEB Insights Conference is born out of the conviction that cyber risk has ceased to be merely a technological matter. When I envisioned Cyber Economy Brasil and the CEB Insights forum, I started from a diagnosis the market still hesitated to admit: cyber risk was no longer an IT issue. It was already moving investments, affecting valuation, pressuring boards and redefining the competitiveness of Brazil's largest organizations — yet the available forums still addressed the topic from a technical angle, far from the language and priorities of those who make the most important economic decisions in corporations.

World Bank — Infrastructure VP
Estefania leads research on digital transformation and its impacts on economic development at the World Bank's Chief Economist's Office for the Infrastructure VP. Her publications examine the economic impacts of digitalization with references in peer-reviewed international journals.
She holds a PhD in Economics and an M.A. in Game Theory from Stony Brook University, with advanced studies in Computer Science. Before joining the World Bank, she served as an Economics professor at universities in the United States and Ecuador.
